Can You List Mixed-Use Spaces on LoopNet?

Yes, LoopNet supports listings for mixed-use properties, but how you list them depends on whether the property is for sale or for lease.

For Sale Listings:

  • Start by selecting Add Listing For Sale in Marketing Center.
  • Choose a primary property type (this cannot be changed once added).
  • Use the “Also Market As” field to select up to three additional property types to reflect the mixed-use nature.
  • Clearly describe the different uses in your listing description.

Pro tip: If you need help updating the property type after publishing, reach out to your researcher.

For Lease Listings:

  • Start by selecting Add Listing For Lease in Marketing Center.
  • Define the space use on your listing (e.x. retail, office)
  • Once saved, space use can’t be changed unless the space is removed and re-added.
  • LoopNet search filters for lease listings are based on space use, not property type.

Pro tip: If you need to update a space use after saving, your researcher can help.
